Like to see and hear “What was in the news about violent disturbances last month?” That’s a simple request. Yet it could take you hours, maybe days, to sift through a month of news in multimedia sources just to find and compile the relevant information.
Imagine: Relevant information a keystroke away!
Be able to:
- find a specific content by skipping all irrelevant segments,
- keep track of new relevant information via automatic notification,
- have a summarized view of the sources displayed in real time.
With the SAIL LABS Media Mining System for OSINT that’s possible: Unstructured data from multiple sources (TV, radio, podcasts, streaming media) is processed into structured, searchable and easily accessible information. During this process the audio input is transformed into an XML-Output, i.e. the speech content being transcribed, translated and indexed automatically by language, speaker, topic, name and keywords in real-time. The translated transcripts are displayed synchronously with the original audio document/video playback in the Internet Explorer.
Key Functions:
- Real-time indexing
- Automatic speech recognition (speech-to-text)
- Transcription from multiple languages
- Speaker identification and segmentation
- Gender detection
- Keyword, machine and human translation
- Named entity and topic detection
- Story segmentation
